Sadly this restaurant is let down by poor management of the smoking laws in Portugal. We sat on the patio which is covered but there was another guest continually smoking cigarettes. When I complained to the waiter and the manager, they said they would let the guest continue smoking. Even though I pointed it out to them that it against the law in Portugal to smoke on patios which have a fixed roof. This is because the smoke cannot escape and it pollutes the whole area. It is disappointing that management do not know the law. I may still submit a complaint to the local authorities. Why should an exception be made for one person to the detriment of over 90% of the patrons? On top of this the service was very slow (even though the restaurant was only half full) and the pork chops were very dry.
